Lukas Fon Fabre, anak manja dari seorang bangsawan dari kerajaan Kimlasca-Lavaldear, telah dimasukkan ke dalam rumah ayahnya sejak dia diculik tujuh tahun lalu oleh musuh dari negaranya, Kekaisaran Malkuth. Sekarang ingatan Lukas pun menghilang, dan selalu mendengar sebuah suara aneh yang hanya dia yang bisa dengar, telah memanggil dia sejak itu. Suatu hari saat pelatihan dengan mentor nya, Van Hibah, seorang wanita aneh yang disebut Sleeping Robek ke rumah dengan maksud mengambil nyawa Van. Selama perjuangan Lukas diangkut jauh dari rumah, bersama dengan air mata, dan sekarang bahwa Lukas akhirnya memperoleh kebebasan dia telah memimpikan, apa yang menantinya di dunia luar akan menghancurkan segala sesuatu yang pernah diketahui tentang dirinya.
