A few days ago, and as I heard that saurus warriors were the bread and butter of the army I am using quite a few (about 8 in an army). But tthey are getting their asses kicked by chaos warriors, savage orcs, and even Empire swordsmen! As soon as they enter combat they get the 'unit losing decisively' icon and start immediately dying. Saurus cost 23% more than longbeards - having 25% hp remaining is not at all a favorable trade in 1 unit vs 1 unit. By lanchester's law, an 'even' trade with that cost difference would be the Saurus having 58% hp remaining (somewhere around 40% in total war would be pretty reasonable, as it's not so directly applicable to melee units).
